At the Cathedral of Grace | St. John we are committed to partnering with you
to enhance your spiritual development as you celebrate God’s goodness and grace.

It is our mission to be a beacon of faith and transforming presence in the lives of individuals in the community we serve and in the wider world around us. But we have to be honest. We’re a community of imperfect people seeking to know God, grow our relationship, and share the good news with others. That’s truly who we are. WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT WITH US

Greeters

We understand that attending a new church can be intimidating so we do our very best to ensure you feel welcomed and a part of our COG | St. John family, that’s why we have a greeting team! They will be there to welcome you and assist with any questions you may have. Also, immediately following worship, you will have an opportunity to meet with a Steward of the church for a reception and a tour of our campus!

Praise & Worship

Praise & Worship begins at 9:45am. It is our 15-minute window to prepare for divine worship as we sing praises and worship God for all of his wonderful blessings.

Divine Worship

Worship begins at 10am and is approximately 90 minutes in length. It is filled with a relevant message from our Pastor or clergy staff and a powerful praise and worship experience with music ranging from traditional hymns to contemporary gospel melodies. Don’t be surprised when some people raise their hands, shout praises, or engage with the Pastor’s message. We create an atmosphere of freedom in our worship.

*Sunday worship is currently held in-person and virtually. Click here to learn more about your options.

There is nothing more important to us than our children and youth. Our safe and fun environments create a space for our kids to form and develop their own relationship with God through Christ. All children and youth will be able to attend a separate service that is designed specifically for their age group.

*Virtual Children’s Church (preschool - 5th grade) is currently being held on Mondays at 6pm. For more information, please check out our Events & News page.

Our dress code is “Sunday’s Best”. Just kidding. Please come as you are. So if that means wearing your best church hat or your favorite pair of jeans, the decision is up to you. We are the church at the caring end of ministry in which we truly care about YOU, not what you’re wearing.
