Serving God and God's people are opportunities in which we can exercise our God-given spiritual gifts within the church and the broader community.

Each week our community of volunteers are making a difference at the Cathedral of Grace | St. John due to their sacrifice and hard work. Whether it's signing, taking photos, or greeting visitors, we appreciate all of our volunteers and their dedication. It doesn't matter if you're a new member or have been with us for many years, we welcome you to share your gifts with us! To begin serving, simply select a team that interests you and complete the short questionaire designed to help us connect you with your best opportunity. From there, we'll either equip you with simple and quick training and/or provide additional details that will leave you feeling confident and comfortable for your role on your team.

MUSIC

Our choirs provides us the opportunity to glorify God and enhance the celebration of worship by preparing the hearts of worshippers through song, for the spoken/preached Word of God. Music is a vital part of the worship experience and serves a link to the heart of God. If you love to sing or play an instrument, this is the place for you.

SIGN SINGERS & PRAISE CHOIR

We use sign language to accompany live and/or recorded sacred music which expresses God’s wonder, love, faithfulness, goodness, grace and mercy; to magnify the meaning of the lyrics of song while praising God through this “dance of hands.” It inspires children, youth, and adults to recognize the beauty of sign language and encourage further study in order to become more competent in communicating with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. No prior experience is needed.

Media

This is a team who works in the background each week to enhance physical worship experiences and virtual preaching and teaching. We operate the audio, lighting, video/camera and visual equipment throughout the church, and work with various ministries to provide digital content as needed. Experience with production is appreciated but know that we will equip you to be a part of creating an anwesome atmoshpere every week!
